The situation
The brand sells through its own online store and through fashion marketplaces in 25 European markets. Each marketplace had its own prices and stock, updated by hand or by tools that disagreed with each other. Prices drifted, sold-out items stayed listed and money was lost on both.
What we built
- One source of truth. The brand’s store decides prices, stock and what is for sale; every marketplace follows it.
- Prices for each market. Each price is converted to the market’s currency and rounded down to the price points shoppers expect there, with a multiplier per market.
- Listings that manage themselves. An item switches off on a marketplace when it sells out everywhere and switches back on when stock returns. Campaign prices set on a marketplace are respected.
- A control panel with what changed, what is held for review and what is listed in one place but missing in another.
The result
33 storefronts stay in step with the shop, prices follow the brand’s rules in every currency, and the team spends its time on the collection.
